Prenatal Breastfeeding Class

Just because breastfeeding is a natural thing, doesn't mean it's going to come naturally for everyone. It takes some time, patience, and practice for you and your baby to learn this new skill. Taking a class prenatally has been shown to increase chances of reaching your feeding goals and this course, taught by a CLC, is sure to help answer your questions and show you the ins and outs of nursing a newborn baby. Partners are strongly encouraged to attend!

This class reviews the stages of labor and birth and which coping techniques work best for each stage. Information about medical and non-medical methods of pain management are discussed and ample time for hands on practice is provided. Ideal for those who have taken a previous childbirth class and would like to review or experienced parents who’d like a refresher.

Class is typically hosted in conjunction with Childbirth Academy Session 2. Class can be held independently with a minimum of 2 registered couples. Private classes can be held in the comfort of your own home for an additional fee.
